Fromageries Riches Monts turns over 275 Million euro and markets about 65000 tonnes of product, 47% of which, in terms of volume, is exported.
It is the number one agrifood company and exporter in Lorraine, home to its headquarters (Metz) and two out of eight of its production facilities (Vigneulles and Bénestroff).
The company employs 1 100 people distributed over eight industrial units in various parts of France. Each one specializes in a particular type of production in line with its geographical position.
Far from attempting to distribute stereotyped products Fromageries Riches Monts aims to promote the true spirit of fine French food. This determination is reflected in the emphasis that the company places on high quality products, in keeping with the country's longstanding cheesemaking traditions.
This approach is illustrated by cheeses such as Tourrée de l'Aubier, Le Rustique Camembert or the various Riches Monts Appellation d'origine controlée (AOC) products.
